Virgin Atlantic is increasing its seat capacity from London Heathrow to Dubai by 50% this winter.
Reporting a 72% surge in demand compared to 2024, the airline has introduced the Airbus A350 on the route, the largest in its fleet.
This aircraft has Upper Class, Premium and Economy cabins, along with Virgin’s signature inflight social space, The Booth.
Meanwhile seat capacity to Cape Town will grow by nearly 15% this winter and the season will be expanded from October into April following a 38% increase in bookings on the route compared to 2024.
After a six-year hiatus, Virgin Atlantic is reintroducing direct flights from Heathrow to Cancun in October on Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
