UK business travellers can now take advantage of Uber’s new ‘Business Exec’ booking options, which include luxury vehicles with extra legroom, top-rated drivers and more time to meet their ride.
Before facing a cancellation charge, riders will be given up to 15 minutes for reserved rides and 60 minutes for reserved airport pickups.
When requesting a ride via their corporate Uber account, riders can also benefit from dedicated Uber for Business phone support and receive on-time pick up protection with compensation automatically applied to their Uber account if a driver arrives late.
Executive and personal assistants can arrange a Business Exec ride on behalf of senior teams. They can also access phone support, receipt forwarding and automated expensing on Uber for Business.
Uber for Business allows organisations to streamline business travel and elevate the customer experience
The move marks the latest Uber for Business offering and follows the launch of Business Comfort as a ride option in 2023.
Jenna Brown, Director of Uber for Business UK, said: “People who are taking business trips want to get to their destination on time and in comfort. We know things don’t always go to plan though – flights can be delayed and meetings can overrun.
“Business Exec factors in this flexibility, providing travellers with the option to reserve a ride or book on-demand with extended driver wait time.”
