A sharp rise in the business travel has seen over 20 new corporate travel specialists wanting to set up their own business with Travel Counsellors.
The group now has nearly 350 business travel specialists in the UK.
Since January 2023, Travel Counsellors has already recruited more new business owners than the whole of last year, a 25% increase year-on-year.
In addition, since its new financial year started in November 2022, Travel Counsellors has had over 200 new business owners join and a third of these new franchisees are returning to the travel industry post pandemic.
Matt Harding, General Manager at Travel Counsellors, said: “We offer a range of options in terms of joining, all underpinned by training and access to our global support network and technology including Phenix, our bespoke-built, high touch, in-house travel booking platform.
“It enables our business owners to offer a really personal service and create truly tailor-made travel itineraries. Everything shows that we expect to see the number of new business owners continue to rise throughout the rest of the year.”
For anyone interested in becoming a Travel Counsellor, the group is running a series of Discovery Days which offer information on how the business model works and a full overview of Travel Counsellors’ industry leading support, tools and technology.
The next Discovery Day is in Manchester on September 27.
