Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) is offering a refreshed in-flight service to long-haul First and Business Class passengers.
The new long-haul experience in SWISS Business begins with the serving of a typically Swiss aperitif once cruising altitude has been reached.
Accompanied by a choice of beverages, including the SWISS Alpine Essence signature cocktail created exclusively for the airline, the traditional snack of nuts is supplemented by a new, fresh element, including olives.
Each course is separately presented during the meal service, which now features the addition of a soup course.
An expanded range of cheeses and desserts, plus a new selection of pralines from Aeschbach Chocolatier, completes the meal service.
New bed linen has been introduced and on flights more than 10 hours in duration, passengers are offered a Muntagnard sleepshirt and an additional seat cover.
Amenity kits in changing designs have been co-developed with the Swiss VIU brand.
Meanwhile, care items feature the Alpine Valley signature scent specially created for SWISS by the Swiss-based Soeder company.
High-quality headphones ensure optimum sound for in-flight entertainment.
A broader selection of beverages and snacks is also available between meals.
Heike Birlenbach, Chief Commercial Officer at SWISS, said: “Our new SWISS Business and SWISS First services are designed to provide all the ambience of a superior restaurant aloft, with greater choice, more individuality and an even firmer emphasis on Swiss hospitality.”
