The Business Travel Association (BTA) has signed a strategic partnership with Premier Inn.
Throughout 2021, the pair will work together to tackle some of the sector’s challenges, including “improving visibility for TMCs across the UK, improving TMC technology and solutions, refining shared recruitment opportunities and enhancing customer and partner experience” on both sides.
“We are thrilled to partner with Premier Inn, an acknowledged champion within the hospitality and travel industry,” said Clive Wratten, CEO of the BTA.
“With the UK’s biggest hotel group adding their support for TMCs and the business travel industry, it will give our sector the well-deserved boost it needs during these difficult times. We look forward to evoking strong and positive change within our shared industries.”
David Cooney, Head of Sales and Distribution at Premier Inn, said: “The BTA’s ongoing commitment to the business travel sector throughout the pandemic makes them the perfect strategic partner as we start this new year. We are always looking at ways in which we can strengthen our relationship and better understand the needs of our TMC partners and business travel customers, and this new partnership will help us do that.
“As the UK’s representative body for the Business Travel community, the BTA’s proven track record in support for TMCs is one Premier Inn greatly admires. We look forward to working closely together in 2021 and beyond.”
