Direct Travel today has appointed Matthew Minielly as Chief Financial Officer and John Coffman as Chief Corporate Development & Business Officer. Minielly most recently served as Chief Financial Officer at Partnerize and previously held senior leadership roles at Allintus and Cunningham Lindsey. Coffman has served as Chief Financial Officer at Direct Travel for more than a decade and has been instrumental in the company’s founding and long-term success. He will focus on corporate development, M&A strategy, and enterprise portfolio alignment across Direct Travel’s global businesses.
Clarasight, the “AI platform for modern travel teams”, has appointed Sachin Sekhri as Strategic Accounts Director, where he will focus on expanding Clarasight’s presence across North America and supporting enterprise clients in modernising their travel operations. He joins Clarasight following more than a decade of leadership across enterprise travel technology and services, most recently as Vice President of Global Sales at BCD Travel, where he led strategic growth initiatives with large multinational clients. Prior to BCD, Sekhri held senior commercial leadership roles at Oversee, Egencia, and IBM supporting global enterprise travel and expense programs.
Merv Moonien has become Senior Process Owner Travel and Expense for CHANEL, leading its global TMC implementation, travel related tools and solutions. He was previously Cross Border Support Manager and Assistant Director at EY, then Travel and Fleet Manager for TJX Europe before joining Clyde Travel Management as Senior Account Manager for eight months. He has also held travel management roles at BNY Mellon, Fitch Ratings, Citigroup and JLL.
