News in brief: Battleface, Ryanair and Travelport

Battleface has partnered with CELITECH, which provides connectivity services for travellers via eSIM technology. The eSIM can be installed remotely via a QR code activation, allowing travellers to access mobile internet services wherever they are in the world, regardless of their physical SIM card’s availability. eSIMs enable travellers to use all their mobile apps and grant access to vital information on-the-go while saving up-to 80% on mobile data roaming.

Ryanair has launched a new route from Liverpool to Madrid, which will operate twice a week – on Fridays and Sunday – from November as part of its winter 2023/24 schedule. Flights are available to book now.

Christopherson Business Travel has teamed up with Travelport to become the first TMC to issue a ticket on the Deem platform since its integration with Travelport+. Travelport+ simplifies access to multi-source content and generates value for agents and travellers, with advanced retailing capabilities, cloud-based point of sale solutions and tools that make operations easier.
