Swiss airline Edelweiss is adding an additional Friday rotation across the peak summer period on its direct link between Cornwall Airport Newquay and Zürich. The route, which currently runs Wednesdays and Sundays each week, will operate three times a week between July 3 and August 21 2026, with the Friday addition supplementing the existing schedule and bringing the route to its highest frequency since launch. The three weekly rotations support a broader set of trip patterns, with Friday flights providing working travellers in the region with an end-of-week return option, allowing for shorter outbound trips without the need to extend stays due to limited flight windows. Single-stop connections from Zürich include Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna and Milan.
