Virgin Atlantic has launched a gaming-style training portal for members of its Sky High Club, providing knowledge, confidence and rewards for travel management consultants and leisure agents.
The Sky High Club is a club for the airline’s partners in the travel trade. It is designed to recognise agents and support them by supplying information, insights, inspiration and money-can’t-buy experiences.
The new portal, The Hangar, is a one-stop hub for mastering the Virgin Atlantic experience. Cabin classes, codeshares and the airline’s route network and joint ventures are outlined.
Gamified, it’s designed with bite-sized modules to fit around busy schedules. That allows agents to dip in and out, test their knowledge and build expertise according to their workload.
Agents will earn Sky High Points redeemable on flights and lifestyle rewards as they complete modules. If they complete three training modules by September 30, they’ll be entered into a £250 Sky High Points prize draw.
The new portal’s rewards include perks, points and recognition including exclusive lunches and award invites.
Nikki Goldsmith, Director of Global Agency Sales at Virgin Atlantic, said: “We’re incredibly proud to launch our new training portal for Sky High Club members – a space designed to inspire, upskill and empower our agent community to reach even greater heights.
“At Virgin Atlantic, we believe in investing in our travel trade partners, and this platform is a step forward in ensuring they have the tools and confidence to deliver brilliantly unique experiences to their customers every day.”
