New business class from Air Europa

Spanish carrier Air Europa will launch a new business class cabin and increase premium capacity this autumn.

Its new business class cabin – featuring 32 seats rather than 30 currently – will be installed on the airline’s new Boeing 787-9 aircraft from October.

A new 1-2-1 configuration will mean all passengers have direct aisle access, while leather seats will convert into flatbeds and have 17-inch entertainment screens.

New amenity kits will be introduced, passengers will have free wifi access, and inflight catering will be devised by renowned Spanish chef Martin Berasategui.

“With growing interest in travel to South America, among both business and leisure travellers, we’re delighted to launch this new product,” says Colin Stewart, UK and Ireland Director at Air Europa.

“Our high-quality business class offering is the perfect accompaniment to our modern fleet of Dreamliner aircraft, providing premium comfort and experience to Air Europa’s passengers.”

A SkyTeam member airline, Air Europa flies from London Gatwick to Madrid and on to more than 15 destinations across Central and South America.
