A £39 million hotel development featuring the county’s highest destination bar and restaurant – Fourteen – will open in Milton Keynes in April 2022.
The hotel is being opened by the British privately-owned group, Hotel La Tour, which previously had a property in Birmingham.
The four-star plus Hotel La Tour will have 261 luxury bedrooms with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows with views over Milton Keynes Central or Campbell Park.
Rooms will also have high-spec technology, super king beds with plush headboards and the finest luxury linens.
Other facilities will include a state-of-the-art gym and 10 meeting rooms.
A 14th floor stylish all-day contemporary British restaurant – with 360-degree panoramic vistas over Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire – will serve breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner with all dishes using seasonal, British produce.
It will have a statement marble effect central bar, with high and low tables and plush green, grey, and pink seating.
Hotel La Tour’s “expansive and exclusive-use” events floor will have a large banqueting suite and outdoor private terrace.
Prices start from £120, inclusive of breakfast.
A spokeswoman for Hotel La Tour said it is looking for opportunities to expand its group in key locations in the UK with capacity for large hotels of cutting-edge design that will service the business and leisure sectors.
