Mark Corbett, the founder of Thrust Carbon in 2019 who left the sustainability specialist last year, is joining Navan as Senior Director, Commercial Innovation & Strategy.
In his new role, Corbett will focus on “delivering new revenue opportunities and efficiencies across the product offering, thus driving increased savings and a better experience for Navan customers”.
An announcement said that while his remit is broad, his initial focus will be on optimising the Navan Lodging Collection and corporate negotiated rates “to ensure a best-in-class hotel booking experience”.
“Mark operates with the discipline and visionary thinking that Navan requires to dominate the T&E sector,” said Michael Riegel, Chief Customer Officer, Navan.
“He understands how to scale complex software ecosystems while keeping the user experience at the centre. His ability to turn sophisticated data into actionable commercial strategy will be a massive asset as we continue to lead the industry.”
