AAdvantage members can make use of complimentary Wi-Fi on American Airlines flights starting from this month.
Passengers can log into the recently upgraded aainflight.com portal using their AAdvantage number and password. After selecting ‘Free Wi-Fi’, they can then start browsing.
The new portal, sponsored by AT&T, is designed for speed, reliability and simplicity.
Complimentary inflight Wi-Fi will be powered by Viasat and Intelsat.
The rollout of the free-to-use Wi-Fi will happen in phases. From January, free high-speed Wi-Fi will be rolled out across American’s narrowbody and dual-class regional fleets. By early spring, it will be available on nearly all American Airlines flights.
