The deadline for entries to this year’s Business Travel People Awards is fast approaching. Nominations must be made by 5pm on Friday April 29.
The awards, now in their 11th year, recognise outstanding individuals and teams across all aspects of corporate travel management whose professionalism and business excellence make them stand out from their peers.
New categories have been added for the 2022 Business Travel People Awards – Travel Technology Innovator, Sustainability Champion, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Champion, Travel Buyer of the Year, and TMC of the Year.
For the first time, there will also be a Chair’s Award, a special award chosen by the chair of the Judging Panel, Leigh Cowlishaw, to recognise an individual or team that has demonstrated particular excellence in their category.
The awards ceremony will take place on September 13 at the Leonardo Royal London City, 7-11pm, on Tuesday September 13. Tickets are now on sale.
The evening will begin with networking drinks on the gallery, where bowl food will also be served, before guests make their way into the hotel’s auditorium for the winners to be revealed.
Award winners are chosen by an esteemed judging panel representing all sectors of the industry who will meet in London on July 7.
Sponsors already confirmed for this year’s awards include Agiito, Focus Travel Partnership, HotelHub, Sirius Talent Solutions and United Airlines.
