Clarity has joined forces with the 2026 Co-op Levy Share Scheme, which funds apprenticeships for people who may find it difficult to access work opportunities.
The Co-op Levy Share was launched in 2021 and enables levy paying employers to transfer unused apprenticeship funds to businesses, charities and community organisations, breaking down barriers to work for those who need it most.
Clarity has supported over 70 apprentices to date, helping underrepresented groups in business travel gain practical skills and the confidence to thrive.
Many of Clarity’s employees once worked under the Co-operative Travel Management brand, now Clarity Business Travel, and that heritage continues to shape the business today.
The scheme has already delivered impressive results, raising over £40 million to support more than 4,000 apprenticeships, with 31% identifying as non-white British, 67% female and 16% declaring a disability.
Neil Wainwright-Farrar, Clarity’s Head of Learning & Development, said: “Apprenticeships have always been close to my heart. They bring fresh talent into the business and give existing colleagues the chance to upskill. Partnering with Co-op is a fantastic way to extend those opportunities to people who might not otherwise have them. We hope to fund two to three apprentices each month throughout their qualification.”
Rob Crabtree, Co-op’s Apprenticeship Delivery Partner, said: “Partnerships like this are exactly what our Co‑op Levy Share Scheme was created for. By working with organisations that share our values, we can open doors for people who may not otherwise get the chance to progress in their careers. Clarity’s commitment will help more individuals access life‑changing apprenticeship opportunities, particularly those who are underrepresented or face barriers to work.”
