British Airways gets romantic

British Airways has unveiled its Valentine’s Day offering with love-themed treats and films.

Upon boarding on February 14 from Heathrow or Gatwick, passengers will receive a heart-shaped chocolate. Once onboard, those in First will be served a white chocolate mousse heart with passion fruit and mango, while those in Club World and Club Europe can find a chocolate and raspberry mousse. A raspberry and rosewater Valentine’s macaron is available for passengers in Club Europe.

British Airways has also relaunched its ‘Love is in the air’ inflight entertainment category, with a rom com line-up comprising Marry Me, Along Came Polly and Music and Lyrics.

Heart-shaped gingerbread will be available at the Heathrow Club and First lounges, while an exclusive wine tasting will take place at the Whispering Angel bar in the Club Lounge at T5B from 12:00. All British Airways lounges in the US will be serving a pink-gin based cocktail named Strawberry Aviation.

Plus, the High Life Café is offering a pre-ordered champagne and chocolate celebration set. Other halves can call BA’s customer service team for a complementary personalised message.
