Travelogix, the travel data management and reporting specialist, has signed a multi-year agreement with Blue Cube Travel.
Blue Cube, a member of The Advantage Travel Partnership, will use Travelogix’s data management and reporting solution Analytix and two central modules within the platform – DataValet and DataShare.
Blue Cube, which was acquired by Israeli group Talma Travel Solutions last autumn, previously used Unlocked Data but has switched to Travelogix after months of discussions.
Travelogix is already the data management provider for Norad, which is also owned by Talma.
Kevin Trill, Blue Cube Director of Technology, Transformation and Security, said: “This collaboration enhances our reporting capabilities with cutting-edge technical solutions and establishes a strong alliance with a leading industry expert deeply familiar with the TMC market.
“Our decision to transition our business to Travelogix was driven by the specific needs of Blue Cube Travel analytics and our customers rather than external factors relating to the merger.
“Our discussions with Travelogix began well before the merger, and we believe this transition will better serve our customers. It’s also a fortunate coincidence that Norad uses Travelogix, which could facilitate data sharing opportunities if needed.”
Chris Lewis, Founder and CEO at Travelogix, added: “From early on in our discussions, we got a sense that outside of the day-to-day function, there seems to be a heart and soul at Blue Cube Travel. They foster and encourage young talent and deeply care about the future of the travel industry.
“Bringing Blue Cube Travel into the Travelogix portfolio is a testament to everyone connected to the deal, particularly Kevin Trill and the wider management team from Blue Cube.”
