New Belfast headquarters for travel management company

Selective Travel Management has opened a new headquarters in Belfast as part of a broader programme of investment aimed at supporting growth across the United Kingdom, Ireland and the wider European corporate travel market.

The independent travel management company has relocated to new offices on Belfast’s Great Victoria Street, providing a larger base for the next phase of its development. According to the company, the move is intended to support continued expansion as it strengthens its presence across Northern Ireland, Great Britain, the Republic of Ireland and elsewhere in Europe.

The company has been operating for more than 50 years and employs around 180 people across the UK and Ireland.

The new headquarters are being opened in a phase of sustained growth for the business, driven by new client wins and contract retentions across the public, private, higher education and third sectors. The company said it has continued to win business from universities, SMEs, corporates, government bodies, charities and third-sector organisations, expanding its client portfolio throughout the UK and Ireland.

Selective Travel Management has also increased the size of its sales and account management team, expanding the function from three to five people as it looks to support future growth and enhance client service capabilities.

Alongside investment in its new office space, the company has continued to invest in technology, employee development and its client offering. Staff development remains a focus through the firm’s in-house Travel Academy and wider learning and development programme.

Keith Graham, Managing Director of Selective Travel Management, said the company was focused on building for the future while maintaining its personalised approach to service: “We have continued to invest in the future of the business, in our technology, our people, our client offering and now in our new Great Victoria Street headquarters. We have ambitious plans for the years ahead.”

Graham added that maintaining a personal service model remained central to the company’s strategy despite its growth.

“Our clients can speak directly to our teams and senior management, and we combine that level of personal service with technology and infrastructure capable of supporting some of the largest and most complex travel programmes in the UK and Ireland,” he concluded.
