US-based security risk management company, WorldAware, has been acquired by GardaWorld, based in Canada.
Over the coming months it will be integrated with GardaWorld’s existing risk management business, Crisis24, although initially both will continue to operate under their respective brands.
“The competitive landscape has seen radical shifts and an integrated approach to managing risk, coupled with the right mix of capabilities, has never been more important. GardaWorld continues to lead in establishing this new paradigm to the benefit of our clients around the world,” said Stephan Crétier, Founder, President and CEO of GardaWorld.
GardaWorld claims to be the world’s largest privately owned security services and cash services company, offering physical security services, end-to-end cash management solutions and security risk management, with Crisis24.
WorldAware was previously called iJet International but rebranded in June 2018 after it acquired crisis management assistance company red24 and Prescient Traveler, an incident reporting solution.
