The TMC, celebrating its 50th year in business, will take on offices in Cork and Dublin, together with ILC’s trading brands including CorporateTravel.ie and TravelAgent.ie.
“ILC came to the attention of the Eton Travel Group earlier this year and is an ideal addition to our portfolio and for our continued expansion across EMEA,” says Ken Thompson, Eton Travel Group’s Managing Director.
“It will join the rest of the group and our global networks which service clients ranging from SMEs to multinationals around the world.”
The acquisition follows the Berkshire-based TMC’s launch of DataSense earlier this year, an interactive management information platform that gives clients access to their real-time travel data.
The system is platform agnostic and can be accessed across desktop, tablet and mobile devices and is populated with pre-defined data and visualisations bespoke to each client’s requirements.
