Z hotels reopens London properties

By Steve Hartridge, published 1/07/20

Z Hotels’ six London hotels will reopen on July 4 following temporary closure in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The properties, in Victoria, Tottenham Court Road, City, Gloucester Place, Holborn and Trafalgar, will operate with elevated hygiene and prevention for both guests and staff.

The new protocols in place include more stringent cleaning plans for each property, thermometers for staff to check temperatures, appropriate PPE for staff and screens built at the reception area, F&B concepts to be closed to the public, updated training material and visual aids to support staff and guests, contactless check out, identification of high touch point areas in bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas with extra cleaning and the use of a viricidal disinfectant product on these points and contactless hand sanitiser stations throughout each hotel.

Z Hotels is offering rates starting from £50 per night until the end of August. The hotel group also has properties in Bath, Liverpool and Glasgow, all of them centrally located.
