All twelve finalists have been selected to exhibit in the Launchpad and range from rail delay repayment handling to a company raising awareness of mental health and wellbeing for travellers.
A public online vote will whittle the 12 down to five who will then pitch to the Disrupt Award judges at the Business Travel Show
Last year’s winner, Dennis Vilović, founder of TroopTravel, says: “Being at the Business Travel Show created massive value for us. We received a huge amount of input and feedback on our product.”
Business Travel Show’s Event Director, David Chapple, adds: “The travel industry is one of the most innovative, evolving at a pace beyond many others. Without innovation there would be no transport, no on board wifi, no biometric security gates, no online check-in, Airbnb and Uber.”
The Business Travel Magazine’s Editor, Andy Hoskins, will be one of the judges at this year’s awards.
