Virgin Atlantic has unveiled a series of product developments, including the introduction of free, streaming-quality, unlimited Wi-Fi throughout its fleet.

The rollout of Starlink across the airline’s Airbus A330neos, A350s and Boeing 787s will begin in the third quarter of 2026 and be completed by the end of 2027.

There will be unlimited usage for every passenger that signs up to Flying Club. 

Virgin has also announced an investment in a complete cabin refurbishment on its Boeing 787-9 fleet, with premium cabins being introduced from 2028, inspired by the premium product on its A330neo aircraft.

Due to be completed by 2030, both the Upper Class and Premium cabins will increase in size, offering 44 Upper Class seats and 56 Premium seats (up from 31 and 35, respectively).

For the first time, the Retreat Suite will be introduced to the 787-9, with eight seats available in every Upper Class cabin.

Economy cabins will be reduced from 192 to 127 seats featuring existing Economy Delight, Classic and Light products..

From the third quarter of 2026, 10 A330neo aircraft will join the fleet with larger premium cabins; six Retreat Suites, 48 Upper Class, and 56 Premium seats

Virgin Altantic is also investing in Clubhouses at London Heathrow and New York JFK and from December 2025 it will offer a new mobile app designed to be a personal travel companion enabling passengers to search and book flights directly through the app and be guided through their journeys.
