Tripism trials leisure platform

Tripism, the cloud-based travel engagement platform, has launched an initiative to give corporate travel buyers a platform to extend offers to employees for their personal travel.

Currently being piloted with four clients, it gives travellers access to exclusive promotions and corporate-negotiated rates for leisure trips

Tripism believes this will help boost employee satisfaction and “reinforce the role of the corporate travel buyer as a strategic contributor to their organisations”.

It also gives suppliers the chance to reach this important audience and drive incremental sales, strengthening supplier relationships and facilitating deeper partnerships between suppliers and the corporate.

“The leisure platform was developed in response to strong demand from corporates seeking innovative ways to add value and share travel benefits with employees,” said Adam Kerr, founder and CEO Tripism.

‘This demand is a clear signal that companies value employee wellbeing and work-life balance. These discounts, negotiated by the corporate travel team, are increasingly recognised as a vital tool to boost employee engagement and retention and support the growing trend for extending business trips to enjoy personal leisure time.”

“It’s a win-win. Corporates strengthen supplier relationships and negotiation positions, employees enjoy tailored perks, and suppliers benefit from increased exposure and sales.”
