Trees4Travel signs two more partnerships

Trees4Travel has partnered with Agentivity, the travel industry management app, and with CMAC Group, the managed ground transport company.

Agentivity will offer the calculation and carbon positive compensation services of Trees4Travel to all its agency customers and to their corporate clients.

“Many of our agency customers are keen to offer their corporate clients an accredited solution to go beyond basic carbon offsetting, even enabling them to have their travel programme be carbon positive. With the integration with Trees4Travel we make that as simple as flicking a switch,” said Edd McArdle, Head of Product and Partnerships at Agentivity.

It means Agentivity’s partnership with Unlocked Data, which offers insights and reporting at a corporate client level, can include not only visibility and decision making on the carbon footprint of booked travel, but can now also be used to drive the client’s offset investment.

“Extending views on the carbon data per trip, at traveller level, and offering it as something a client can use to make a decision on a pending trip are all very exciting features to add to our offering, and the integration between Agentivity and Trees4Travel made this very easy to achieve”, says Dan Raine, CEO at Unlocked Data.

“Putting data into the hands of decision makers, and providing clear travel options and offset choices is key to reducing an organisations environmental impact.”

CMAC’s partnership with Trees4Travel is part of the company’s wider sustainability strategy, with it pledging to be carbon neutral by the end of 2023.

Trees4Travel will calculate and grow the number of trees necessary to absorb the CO2 emissions produced by CMAC employees during travel, alongside facilities and events, helping to restore eco-systems, biodiversity, and support local communities through employment.

CMAC customers can also benefit from the partnership, with the firm able to facilitate tree growing projects on their behalf, neutralising emissions based on the journeys their travellers take through their managed ground transport solutions.
