Ian Blackie, the former Travel Manager EMEA at Bloomberg, has joined Saudia Airlines as General Manager, Global Corporate Sales, with responsibility for corporate and TMC partnerships across the world.
Now based in Jeddah, he reports to Saudia Chief Commercial Officer Arved von Zur Muehlen.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Saudia at this pivotal time. There is high demand for Saudia in line with Saudi Vision 2030. I look forward to supporting the corporate and TMC community on this journey of growth in the Kingdom and beyond,” said Blackie.
Prior to Bloomberg, Blackie held senior commercial roles with a number of airlines, including Etihad, Qatar and Virgin Atlantic.
Before joining Bloomberg six years ago, he was Director, Sales and Account Management UK & Ireland at HRS – The Hotel Portal.
