The Peninsula London is now accepting reservations for stays from September 12 2023.
The newly-built hotel, which replaces a 1960s office block by Hyde Park Corner, is running an exclusive stay offer for its first guests.
For a limited time, visitors who reserve a room or suite can also enjoy special privileges, including an exclusive opening offer of £1,300 including daily breakfast for two, Peninsula Time, offering flexible check-in and check-out times, use of a House car and complimentary airport pick-up for all suite reservations.
The hotel’s numerous event venues opening later this year include the pillarless St. George Ballroom (with back-of-house elevators large enough for cars), and other spaces ranging from configurable conference rooms to an intimate private cinema. All are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and the service of the hotel’s special-event staff.
Restaurants, bars, and lounges include the hotel’s signature rooftop restaurant, Brooklands, offering Modern British cuisine from Michelin-starred Chef Director Claude Bosi, a tasting lounge and cigar storage.
At Canton Blue and its adjacent bar, Little Blue, Chinese cuisine, cocktails and teas are served.
At The Lobby, traditional Peninsula Afternoon Tea and globally inspired food is served, often accompanied by live music.
A more casual offering, including fresh-made salads, sandwiches, and sweets, is available throughout the day at The Peninsula Boutique and Café.
The Spa and Wellness Centre provides exercise classes and workshops, a 25-metre indoor swimming pool, plus a digital Wellness Portal which provides in-room, round-the-clock access to wellness programming.
The hotel, along with 25 luxury residences, is close to many of the city’s iconic attractions, including Buckingham Palace, The Royal Parks, The Palace of Westminster, Harrods and the boutiques of Bond Street.
