An independent panel of judges has assessed all entries in this year’s awards – with nominations up 15% on last year – and the finalists have now been named in 16 categories across the TMC, MICE, Supplier and Industry Awards sectors.
“We are delighted to see nominations increase yet again, and it is rewarding to be reminded of this industry’s rich and diverse talent as we identified our finalists,” says Mark Cuschieri, Chairman of the judging panel.
Some 15 TMCs are represented by individual members of staff or teams from within their respective businesses, while suppliers represented on the shortlist include Delta Air Lines, Sixt Rent A Car, Travelport, Trainline, LNER, Avis Budget Group and ANA, among others.
Finalists in the Best Newcomer category are Kyle Daniels of Clarity, Rob Cope of Corporate Travel Management, Will Jukes of Amber Road and Nicola McKenzie of Fello.
The Rising Star shortlist, meanwhile, features ATPI’s Claire Harrington, Virgin Atlantic’s Nick Beetles, Kylie Priestly of Corporate Travel Management, Clarity’s Asma Younus and Hugo Jarvis of Blue Cube Travel.
The panel of judges, which also includes ITM’s Scott Davies, PwC’s Will Hasler, the GTMC’s Adrian Parkes and Advantage Travel Partnership’s Julia Lo Bue-Said, will meet again imminently to decide the winners.
