Travel buyers managing the travel for organisations across a wide range of sectors met with representatives from ALTOUR and Kayak for Business for a Business Travel Lunch Forum on June 3.

In an open and off-the-record debate, they discussed the need for access to unbiased content, meaningful data, a consumer-grade user experience, personalisation, speed, efficiency and security from their travel technology providers.

Buyers shared their own experiences and challenges and heard how developments in AI, blockchain and other technologies are finally helping to bridge the gap.

Kayak for Business and ALTOUR have joined together with BlockSkye to form a partnership designed to solve many of the pain points.

The event took place at the Caledonian Club in London’s Belgravia.
