Travel buyers, senior travel management company professionals and supplier sponsors enjoyed a night of networking at The Business Travel Dinner Club on October 9.
Organised by The Business Travel Magazine, the dinner was held at the Dorchester, London, and began with a Champagne reception.
Before dinner was served in the hotel’s private Crystal Room, guests at each of the five tables were formerly introduced by Travega’s Giles Harper. As always, there was a large number of first time guests at the invitation-only event.
The evening ended with a short talk from a guest speaker, followed by a relaxed Q&A under the Chatham House Rule.
On this occasion, the speaker was Thomas Ableman, former Director of Strategy and Innovation at Transport for London who is now founder of Freewheeling, a consultancy business helping change-makers in transport get faster outcomes, driven by customer need.
The evening was kindly sponsored by United Airlines, Lokulus, South Western Railway and Take2Eton Group.
