Sustainable hotel coming to Mayfair in 2023

1 Hotel Mayfair, opening in summer 2023, is claiming it will be London’s very first mission-driven sustainable luxury hotel.

Located on Berkeley Street overlooking Green Park, the hotel is set to be a nine-story building, housing 181 guest rooms and suites; Dovetale restaurant by two Michelin-starred chef Tom Sellers; and a neighbourhood coffee shop and signature bar. The property will also feature a bespoke fitness centre and Bamford Wellness Spa.

The existing building has been reimagined and adapted, with sustainably sourced and recycled materials used throughout, including the use of reclaimed metal floor tiles, solar panels, and large areas of green living walls.

Dovetale, its new ground-floor restaurant, will feature a menu with seasonal produce, with an à la carte menu bolstered by a dedicated offering from the grill, a raw bar and an expansive wine programme.

A Knickerbocker Glory trolley will offer a Dovetale take on the classic dessert, made tableside. The restaurant will be joined by an adjacent destination cocktail bar at launch.

Neighbours Cafe and Bar will be a daytime cafe and evening bar with a central communal table crafted from raw timber.

Bamford Wellness Spa will feature ceilings with the existing concrete waffle slabs and three spa treatment rooms. Rates start from £900 per night.
