Speakers revealed for Corporate Travel Summit

The Advantage Travel Partnership and Business Travel Association (BTA) have revealed the first wave of speakers for their first Corporate Travel Summit.

Called NEXUS – Power of Partnerships, the one-day event will take place on March 6 at Novotel London West in Hammersmith.

Keynote presentations will be given by Paralympic champion-turned-parliamentarian Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson DBE DL and renowned economist Liam Halligan. Acclaimed writer, producer and entertainer Nigel Mead will moderate.

Baroness Grey-Thomson has recently been appointed as Chair of the Department for Transport’s Aviation Accessibility Task. She will discuss her role in leading efforts to enhance air travel for disabled passengers, as well as her own personal experiences and creating an inclusive transport environment across all modes of transport.

Halligan, who pens a weekly Economics Agenda column in The Sunday Telegraph, will help make complex economic concepts accessible and shed light on business travel’s role in driving the UK’s economic growth.

Andrea Caulfield-Smith, Managing Director of Global Business Travel at The Advantage Travel Partnership, said: “We are delighted to have assembled a fantastic line-up of speakers for this Summit who not only reflect the significance of this event, but bring unparalleled expertise and insight.

“Each speaker will bring their own unique perspective that will undoubtedly inspire fresh and visionary thinking and deliver tremendous value to delegates.”

Andrew Clarke, Commercial Director of the BTA, added: “The business travel industry is entering a new era against a backdrop of ongoing geo-political instability and economic uncertainty.

“This Summit is an opportunity to reimagine how we protect managed travel’s integrity while creating enhanced value for customers and partners.”
