Registration is now open for this year’s prestigious Business Travel People Awards, being announced at a virtual, live ceremony at 2.30pm on Friday September 18.
The awards, now in their ninth year, recognise outstanding individuals and teams across all aspects of the business travel and meetings industry whose professionalism and business excellence make them stand out from their peers.
The shortlist of finalists has now been announced.
There are 18 categories this year, including two new special categories acknowledging a company or organisation and an individual for their innovative and caring approaches during the Covid-19 pandemic crisis.
Entries were judged by an esteemed industry panel, including Chair Leigh Cowlishaw, Joint Managing Partner of business travel consultancy Black Box Partnerships, who will be presenting the awards next week along with Bev Fearis, Editor of The Business Travel Magazine, and Kirsty Hicks, Publisher and Commercial Head Business Travel at organisers BMI Publishing.
“By hosting the awards virtually this year we can make registration free and welcome as many people as possible to share in the moment when we announce the winners,” said Hicks.
“All of the finalists have already achieved so much to get this far. The standard of nominations has been extremely high and in some categories the judging was so tight we have decided to introduce a Highly Commended accolade for those who just missed out.
“We very much look forward to presenting the awards to all the winners on Friday September 18 and hope you can join us in celebrating the best talent in our industry.”
Register to attend the virtual ceremony live at 2.30pm on Friday September 18.
