Reed & Mackay transitions to Navan brand and platform

The Reed & Mackay name is to disappear as Navan begins the transition of customers to the Navan platform and brand.

Starting immediately, all new corporate travel sales by the Navan Group will be conducted under one unified Navan brand.

Navan, then called TripActions, acquired Reed & Mackay in May 2021 and at that time pledged to retain the travel management company’s brand.

Nina Herold, CEO of Reed & Mackay, will lead the integration and evolution of the “unified offering” and said it would move at a “thoughtful pace” to ensure “every customer migration is handled with the highest degree of care”.

An announcement from Navan said bringing the teams together will also create efficiencies for the business as Navan aligns its organisational structures.

As the integration progresses, the white-glove service offering from Reed & Mackay’s dedicated consultants will become the foundation for a new premium offering from Navan, for customers who want a higher level of personalised care alongside “market-leading” digital tools, the statement continued.

It said existing Reed & Mackay customers will continue to operate as usual until they are seamlessly migrated to the Navan platform.

Reed & Mackay CEO Fred Stratford retired in October after 13 years with the company and was replaced by Nina Herold, formerly Navan Chief Operating Officer.
