Travel Counsellors has announced record-breaking sales figures for its corporate travel services, Travel Counsellors for Business.
The SME specialist said corporate travel sales in the 2023 financial year have exceeded £200 million for the first time, with 32% growth over 2022.
Managing Director Kieran Hartwell said the business was on track to achieve its target of Total Transaction Value (TTV) exceeding £220m this year.
He added: “We have seen a significant increase in new business wins in the SME sector based on investments we have made to grow our direct sales channel and support existing Travel Counsellors in acquiring new clients.
“Existing clients are showing strong trading patterns on prior years and there is a shift in mix, due to an increase in ancillary sales.”
This financial year has seen over 1,400 new corporate customers choosing to book with a personal Travel Counsellor.
The strongest performing industry sectors are professional services, manufacturing, financial services, marketing and sports.
