Radisson Hotel Group has signed up to HRS’ Green Stay Initiative (GSI).
Its portfolio of more than 1,100 properties across more than 95 countries will gradually participate in the scheme, starting with an initial group of properties in Europe this quarter.
Launched two years ago, HRS’ GSI technology enables corporate hotel procurement managers to efficiently view and consider hotel sustainability metrics and information amid other categories, such as room rates and cancellation policies.
Radisson is aiming to be Net Zero by 2050 based on the approved near-term Science Based Targets.
Gianni Di Fede, Senior Vice President Revenue Management, RevGen Analytics and Distribution at Radisson Hotel Group, said: “We continue to our Net Zero transition while delivering a sustainable lodging experience in our hotels worldwide with a combination of Hotel Sustainability Basics, recognised eco-labels and unique value propositions such as 100% carbon neutral Radisson Meetings.”
