Qondor expands BCD partnership

Norwegian software company Qondor has expanded its strategic partnership with BCD Meetings & Events into the UK.

The company, which helps TMCs and event organisers streamline their M&E and group travel operations, said the move “marks a key milestone in its growth journey”.

“This expansion enhances our global Meetings & Events ERP-platform and promises to elevate operational efficiency and client services in the UK market,” it said.

“Our successful collaboration with BCD M&E has already delivered significant value in mainland Europe and we’re eager to bring these advancements to the UK.”

Qondor has developed a cloud-based software to handle meetings and conferences, allowing planners to manage the entire process from request to invoice.

BCD Travel had been looking for an M&E Project management tool and became aware of the Qondor software when it acquired TicketBiz in 2015.

Qondor had helped TicketBiz, which was mainly targeting the Swedish and Norwegian market, improve its workflow.

“We started to analyse what we needed to implement Qondor on a regional level within EMEA,” said Corinne Nobel, Process Improvement Manager EMEA for BCD M&E.

“We quickly saw that with Qondor we could finally streamline one operational process for all meeting planners across multiple countries and cultures– a challenge for many years. We were also able to standardise our legal terms as well as ensure better compliance between countries and markets.”
