Plaza Premium poised to open 15 new facilities

Airport hospitality specialist Plaza Premium Group is investing $55million in developing 15 new lounges and hotels across 11 international airports.

The group has recently opened Aerotel properties at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 3 and Beijing Daxing International Airport and will open another at Sydney Airport in 2020.

It has additionally expanded its Aerotel hotel in Kuala Lumpur and is currently renovating its inaugural location, the Aerotel Singapore.

The group’s leading brand, Plaza Premium Lounge, will launch at Dubai International Airport this December and then at Sydney Airport Terminal 1 early next year.

That will be followed by an opening at Toronto Pearson International Airport in the second quarter of 2020, which will be the largest independent pay-per-use lounge in Canada.

It will debut the brand in the US next year with domestic and international lounges at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and an international lounge at Denver International Airport.

The group will also introduce its Allways meet and greet service at Dallas Fort Worth, joining existing service points in Toronto, New Delhi, Macau, and a porterage service in New York.

Song Hoi-see, Founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group, says: “2019 and 2020 mark a big leap forward for Plaza Premium Group and we are committed to serving over 16 million travellers by the end of 2020 – a 10% increase compared to where we are now.

“Our businesses have been going from strength to strength thanks to our airport, airline and corporate partners, and our valued guests.”

Launched in 1998, Plaza Premium Group will be operating in more than 175 locations across 47 international airports by 2020.
