Partnership to deliver personalised ground transport options

Jyrney, a mobility platform for business travel, and Grapevine, an AI-driven communications platform, have announced a strategic partnership.

The collaboration enables business travellers to book ground transport through pre-trip communications, optimising cost, safety and sustainability.

The integration of Jyrney’s ground transport platform with Grapevine’s communications engine enables business travellers to receive timely, company-approved ground transport options ahead of their trips.

This ensures travellers can make informed decisions about their ground transport options for departure, arrival and return while leveraging Jyrney’s algorithms to select the best providers.

Travellers and bookers can access content from global suppliers including Blacklane, SIXT Ride and Carey International alongside regional taxi companies, including black cabs in London.

Ground transport leakage

Ground transport is often outside travel policies and can amount to a large, unregulated spend. Grapevine’s communications allow pre-vetted options that comply with company policies to be presented to business travellers, improving visibility and control over travel expenses while reducing CO2 emissions.

“The reality is that travellers rarely think about their taxi to the airport when they book their flights. Integrating Jyrney means Grapevine can now suggest ground transport options in addition to our existing hotel, airport parking and lounge access offering,” said Jack Dow, Founder of Grapevine, which sends personalised ‘right time, right channel’ booking recommendations and content to business travellers on behalf of TMC and corporate clients.

Daniel Price, Founder of Jyrney added: “Often ground transport is over-looked and forgotten in the trip booking process, so having Jyrney’s complete ground transport solution bookable through Grapevine’s smart messaging platform gives the passenger one less thing to worry about for their trip.”

The integration will be showcased at the Business Travel Show at the ExCel in London, where Jyrney and Grapevine are sharing a stand.
