OUIGO France tickets now easier to book

Sabre and Trainline Partner Solutions (TPS), the B2B arm of Trainline, are now selling tickets for the low-cost train operator OUIGO France.

Sabre Corporation is including OUIGO Essentiel in its Rail 2.0 solution after signing an agreement with OUIGO’s parent SNCF Voyageurs.

OUIGO Essentiel offers a single class of seating and a range of optional services, making it “an efficient and economical choice for train travel across France”.

In future, Sabre will also introduce OUIGO Plus, which offers additional amenities, including extra luggage, seat selection, on-board Wi-Fi, and access to OUIFUN, OUIGO’s entertainment service.

The announcement follows the recent renewal of the 25-year strategic distribution agreement between SNCF and Sabre.

Meanwhile, Trainline Partner Solutions is launching the sale of OUIGO France tickets with 10 travel agency partners, with sales accessible through direct connection to Trainline’s API via travel agencies such as Navan and TravelPerk.

Cédric Dufour, European Sales Manager at Trainline Partner Solutions, said: “At a time when OUIGO accounts for around 25% of high-speed rail customers, we are delighted to start offering this important content to our B2B partners.

“With this new integration, we now cover all the carriers operating on the French market. Thanks to OUIGO’s wide range of products and fares, we believe this wider choice will influence companies’ travel policies and make rail a more popular choice for business travellers.”

Michael Riegel, CEO of Navan, EMEA, said: “The liberalisation of the rail network in France and across Europe has brought more carriers and competition to the rail network. As prices have become more competitive, it is the travel management company’s responsibility to offer maximum choice and deliver these savings straight to their customers.”

Other content, such as OUIGO Spain, will be available over the coming year.
