One week left to enter the People Awards

There is just over one week left to enter the 2024 Business Travel People Awards, the awards that recognise the talent of individuals and teams in the business travel sector.

Submissions for the 19 categories will close at 11.30pm on Thursday March 28.

The People Awards, now in their 13th year, celebrate the achievements of the people in the industry, rather than the companies or brands.

There are 19 categories to enter, including six new for this year:

  • Sales and Business Development Team of the Year
  • Sales and Business Development Manager of the Year
  • Consultant of the Year
  • TMC Above and Beyond – Individual
  • TMC Above and Beyond – Team
  • Mentor of the Year

“Entries have been coming in thick and fast but we know there is always a late flurry as the deadline approaches,” says Kirsty Hicks, organiser of the awards and Publisher of The Business Travel Magazine.

“Nominations must be backed up with evidence, such as videos or written testimonials from clients, partners or peers, and this will account for a third of the overall scores. You’ve got just over a week to gather and present this evidence, so there’s still time.”

Guidance for submissions

The awards will be presented at a glittering evening ceremony on Tuesday September 17 at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London’s Covent Garden, where the 2023 awards ceremony took place.

Virgin Atlantic is Platinum sponsor for the prestigious awards and will be providing some of the entertainment at the ceremony. More details will be announced closer to the time.

Direct ATPI is Silver sponsor and will once again sponsor the pre-dinner drinks reception on the night of the awards. It will also be offsetting the travel to and from the event for all guests.

JetBlue, Sirius Talent Solutions, Travel Risk Academy, Clarity, Nomadic and Best Workplaces in Travel have signed up as Bronze sponsors and will sponsor specific categories.
