Katie Garrahy will take on the role of SilverDoor Senior Vice President Business Development from October 1. She will lead a 10-strong team responsible for building and developing the company’s strategic growth plans at a global level. Garrahy joined SilverDoor in October 2022 and is currently Senior Client Programme Manager.

Sabre Corporation has named Richard Viner Head for Corporate Accounts for the UK and Ireland. Viner brings extensive experience from various roles at Expedia, Egencia, TravelPerk and PSNGR1. At Sabre he will focus on helping corporate travel buyers in the UK and Ireland access the tech company’s multi-source content, including GDS, NDC and low-cost carriers.

The oneworld alliance has recruited  Loren Neuenschwander in the new role of Vice President, Membership. He previously spent 28 years with Delta Air Lines and joins the alliance most recently from the Boston Consulting Group. He will spearhead the integration of Fiji Airways and Oman Air as full members of the alliance and champion oneworld’s sustainability initiatives, reporting to oneworld CEO, Nat Pieper.

Synergy Global Housing (Synergy) has appointed Aaron Turner as Chief Technology to “drive Synergy’s technology strategy and roadmap into a new era of innovation”. His focus will be on “enhancing the experience for business travellers, assignees, travel managers, travel administrators and mobility managers by making it easier for accommodation partners and Synergy employees to service these groups”. Prior to joining Synergy, Turner was CTO for BridgeStreet Global Hospitality, where he led the development of the Stay Accommodation platform.
