Meon Valley Travel has appointed Stephen Inskip in the new role of Commercial Director. Inskip previously worked at Reed & Mackay and BCD Travel and was most recently Managing Director of ski specialist Ski Verbier. James Beagrie, Meon Valley Travel Managing Director, said Inskip “has a sharp commercial acumen and a wealth of knowledge which will be central to further developing our customer proposition”.
Joel Hanson, who left CWT last summer after more than 18 years, has joined Tripism as an advisor. Hanson was previously Senior Director Innovation Business Development for CWT and has since become advisors to several other technology-led businesses.
Karen Hutchings, Global Head of Travel Meetings and Events for EY for 11 years, has set up her own business, Cobb & Hutch Consulting. “Having spent more years than I care to mention being employed I decided to challenge myself to do something completely different,” she said on LinkedIn.
Joanna Hillman, previously Senior Director Sales UK and Ireland at CWT, has joined business process management company WNS as Senior Vice President Sales to help drive “exceptional outcomes and innovation” across the travel sector. She left CWT at the end of 2023 after 25 years with the TMC.
David Brown, Managing Director UK Trains at Arriva Group, has been appointed non-executive Chair of Rail Delivery Group. He succeeds Steve Montgomery, Managing Dirctor of First Rail Holdings Ltd, whose term as Chair has come to an end but he remains a member of RDG’s board.
