Katie Virtue is leaving Festive Road at the end of August after six years with the company. She is leaving to join temoji consulting, the supplier focussed group set up by Paul Tilstone when he left Festive Road last year. He was a co-founder of Festive Road along with Caroline Strachan. Virtue, based in the US, will also expand her speaking workshop and coaching business.

Navan has appointed Anré Williams to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. Williams, who most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of American Express National Bank and Group President of Enterprise Services at American Express, brings over 35 years of executive leadership experience and a track record of driving innovation in the financial services and business travel industries. Williams is currently Senior Executive Advisor at American Express.

David Hodges has been named Vice President Americas at Virgin Atlantic, starting on October 1. He will lead the airline’s teams across the US, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, alongside Delta Air Lines and other partners in the region. Hodges has been with Virgin Atlantic for 12 years working in Government Affairs, Sales as Country Manager for India, Head of Cabin Operations and most recently as Head of London Heathrow.

Retailaer, the airline retailing and distribution platform, has appointed Ashley Raiteri as Interim Chief Technology Officer. His expertise spans all aspects of fares, flight scheduling, and commercial distribution having previously worked closely with airlines including United Airlines, Swiss, Virgin Atlantic, Scoot, JetStar and others. Raiteri developed one of the first competitor flight search engines to ITA’s product and has launched more than eight start-ups in the travel ecosystem, many of which have been acquired or remain profitable today.
