Leanne Riley has been promoted to the role of Director of Business Development at CMAC Group. She was previously Head of Sales for the ground transportation and accommodation service provider where she has worked for more than seven years. She joined CMAC in January 2018 as Business Development Manager and before that worked at Sixt Rent a Car.
Sally Higgs has joined Clarasight, the provider of carbon planning and intelligence software, as Sustainability and Operations Programme Manager. Announcing the move on LinkedIn, she said she’s been a fan of the company for a while and has “watched from the sidelines as they disrupted our industry with their carbon and cost scenario planning solutions”. Higgs was previously with Festive Road for three years as Travel and Events Sustainability Manager for Amazon. Before that she was Strategic Account Manager at American Express GBT.
Samantha McDermott has rejoined Omega World Travel as Business Development Manager. She previously worked for the TMC as Account Relationship Manager between 2004 and 2006 then left to join Reed & Mackay. She then took a break from the industry to co-found a children’s clothing charity.
Harsh Sodhani has returned to Hilton to become Business Development Manager at the Hilton London Bankside. He previously worked for Hilton at the start of his hospitality career in 2019, working at several London properties, then left in April 2024 to join Clermont Hotel Group as Cluster Sales Manager MICE.
