News in brief: Hotel Bristol Berlin, Greengage and more

The Hotel Bristol Berlin has completed the renovation of 50 bedrooms, inspired by the British Roaring 20s, as part of a major investment. The remaining 251 rooms and suites will be renovated in the coming months. Alongside the room renovations, Hotel Bristol Berlin will be opening a new modern brasserie in May. 

Greengage has appointed Anish Rajani as Business Development Manager. In his role, he will work with hotels and venues to help them secure Greengage’s ECOsmart accreditation and showcase their sustainability credentials. Rajani has a passion for sustainability developed through working with organisations such as Veri Green, Branded Biophilia and MyCarbon.

Passengers can now fly direct to Casablanca in Morocco from Manchester Airport with Royal Air Maroc. The flights will operate three times a week on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday taking around three and a half hours. It is the first time since before the pandemic that passengers from the region will be able to fly directly to Casablanca. 

Sabre Corporation has made two leadership appointments to accelerate growth and expansion across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions. Abdul-Razzaq Iyer has stepped into the new role of Vice President of Operations and Strategy in EMEA and Ramzi Al-Qassab has been appointed as the new Managing Director for the Middle East region.
