Trees4Travel is inviting the travel industry to gift a real tree in a digital Christmas card instead of sending Christmas cards this year. All trees gifted will be planted in a developing country, helping to restore the world’s forests and biodiversity. Individual or thousands of cards can be sent simultaneously, with company logos.

American Express GBT has launched Green Compass, a new service developed by GBT’s consulting arm, Global Business Consulting, which helps put corporates on the pathway to reduced business travel emissions while still enabling travel. Cignpost ExpressTest has introduced a new Click & Collect version of its Lateral Flow Arrivals test, aimed at fully-vaccinated international travellers coming to the UK. The tests can be pre-ordered and collected at Heathrow’s T2, T3 and T5 terminals, and at Gatwick, Birmingham and Edinburgh airports and cost £19.99. Results are confirmed in 25 minutes and authenticated when the customer uploads a photograph of their test and passport number to the ExpressTest app.

De Vere, the collection of historic mansion house estates and distinctive contemporary hotels​, has donated £560,000 to NHS Charities Together to help NHS staff, volunteers, and patients at the centre of the Covid-19 pandemic. The donation will support key areas, including welfare and wellbeing, assistance for patients leaving hospital, and long-term mental health support for NHS workers.
