Staycity has opened a Wilde aparthotel in the heart of Paddington, a short stroll from Merchant Square. The 19-floor building has 249 design-led studios and one-bed apartments. It is the third Wilde aparthotel to open in London, following the opening of the 156-apartment Wilde in Aldgateopening last November and the 106-room aparthotel in Covent Garden in 2018.
YOTEL has announced the opening of a property in London Shoreditch in April 2022. The former East London Hotel will be re-branded as a YOTEL as the brand’s fifth city centre hotel in the UK. The 161-room hotel, on Cambridge Heath Road, will receive a light refurbishment to incorporate YOTEL’s signature design and technology features.
Mobility provider SIXT and hotel giant Accor have signed a multi-year strategic partnership. As part of the agreement, members of Accor’s loyalty programme, Accor Live Limitless, can collect points when they book a rental car with SIXT.
British Airways is introducing a service from Heathrow to Nuremberg, located in Bavaria, Germany, this spring. Flights will initially operate four times a week from March 27 and will then increase to six flights per week schedule starting from May 1 and four times a week over the winter months.
