Riskline has launched a new widget, TravelCheck, which can be embedded onto a website or platform and gives users access to detailed, up-to-date and verified travel information, such as entry and exit rules, testing and quarantine requirements and current Covid hotspots. TravelCheck can be customised with a company’s own brand and covers 220 countries and territories.

TAG has upgraded to Travelport+, an extensive, next-generation platform that creates a simplified, capability-rich, marketplace for travel retailing and is the “centerpiece of Travelport’s new global strategy”. TAG was an early adopter of Travelport+ in the U.S. and the platform has now been rolled out to its entire international operations.
Preferred Hotel Group has launched ‘I Prefer Points for Good’ to give travellers the chance to donate points they have earned through membership in the brand’s rewards programme. From April 22 (Earth Day) until April 30 2021, members can redeem and donate points in increments of $5, $10, and $20, with all proceeds going directly to the Ocean Heroes Network, a global non-profit organisation that equips young people with the tools to transform their passion for ocean health into careers.
Clarity Business Travel has signed an agreement with venuedirectory.com for its GRATIS software, which provided an end-to-end venue sourcing solution and is used by over 50 specialist businesses and organisations throughout the UK. Paul Casement, Clarity Director of Sales and Account Management, described the move as a ‘game-changer’.

RESIDE Worldwide, an alternative accommodation platform with operations in over 19,000 cities and 60 countries, has partnered with Homelike, a European start-up with over 70,000 self-catering furnished apartments, aparthotels, serviced apartments and studios in 400 cities throughout Europe. Homelike’s properties will now be added to RESIDE’s global marketplace aggregator platform, 3SIXTY.
