News in brief: Inmarsat, Vibe and more…

Inmarsat has launched a new payment option for airline passengers. Called OneFi, it will allow passengers to order food and drink, upgrade their seat, receive the latest flight and destination information, and sign up to the airline’s frequent flyer programmes, all in real-time from the comfort of their seat.

Booking technology firm Vibe has created two new senior roles: Laura Travis has been promoted to the role of Client Services Manager and Rob Marshall joins from hotels.com to become Software Tester.

Hotel giant Accor has joined the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance, a global organisation that brings together hospitality companies and uses the industry’s collective power to address and tackle key sustainability challenges.
